Mr. Kelty is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP), a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), a principal with the firm of Kelty Financial Services, Inc. servicing the business and individual markets in the areas of insurance, investments, estate and retirement planning.  John has also been associated with Mack Investment Securities, Inc. of Glenview, Illinois since 1989 , holding licenses in general securities, municipal bonds, and options.  John maintains an active insurance license in the areas of life, variable life & annuities, health, and is certified by the State of Illinois to sell long-term care insurance. In addition, Mr. Kelty has recently completed advanced training in the area of Special Needs and is associated with Prudential Special Needs Solutions Program.  Prior to 1986, Mr. Kelty was  affiliated with several major corporations in the field of sales and marketing providing products and services to the chemical and coatings market place. John graduated from Northern Illinois University having earned a BS in Marketing, with  advanced course study in finance and accounting.

John is a life long resident of the Oak Park - River Forest community serving on many community boards and youth organizations over the years.  Married to Susan and has three grown children.
